Position: Corrosion Technician

Location: Woodsboro, TX

Description:

This position is "hands-on" and will be responsible for protecting field gathering and process facilities from electrolytic and biologic corrosion within an assigned area. Conducts annual pipe-to-soil surveys and close interval surveys. Makes soil resistivity tests to effectively locate cathodic protection installations. Tests protected pipelines to measure the efficiency of installed units. Monitors interference point and bonds. Maintains cathodic protection stations. Installs cathodic equipment. May conduct and interpret line surveys and gas leakage surveys.
